Jason Bateman Totally Looks Like Nathan Fillion

Was watching the first 9 episodes of Arrested Development yesterday and the whole time I was convinced that Michael Bluth (the main character) was the same guy as Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly. I ended up figuring out that’s not the case, but I still think they’re very alike.

The EXACT same thing happened with me. They do look alike, they act similar and they sound similar. So when I first saw Arrested Development I thought “hey that’s that guy from Firefly, he’s awesome!” That’s actually part of the reason I wanted to watch it; because I really believed they were the same person. But I noticed the cast names and I had a twilight zone moment when I realized they weren’t. I still love them both individually, but as the same person I loved them a whole lot more. Now I wonder how many other people thought that as well.
Ha, this is so funny — I watched Arrested Development when it was on air, but am just now addicted to Firefly, and not only do they look alike, but their characters are practically identical, just in different storylines. The one-liners, the snark, the sort of flippant attitude toward everything — it’s so alike.
