Flour Power

The Google car is roaming around Portugal to add imagery to the Google Maps’ Street View. Needless to say, some unusual situations have been captured, and some people with too much time on their hands found them. And I’m glad they did, otherwise we wouldn’t have access to this:

And the best one so far features a monument by a famous Portuguese Sculptor – João Cutileiro – that makes the whole thing even funnier (it would be even better if the fountain was on…):

This last one was already removed from Google Maps…

Looking forward to getting some more of these

I think this is, so far, the event that made me feel more sorry for not being in Portugal…

What happens when you wake up and realise it’s a great sun outside?

If you live in Portugal, you close the drapes and stay inside because it’s probably too hot outside.

If you live in Ireland, you get dressed immediately and go outside to be a “human sunflower” and do the monthly photosynthesis… And that’s exactly what I “had to do” today…

Because, the weather is not always bad (just 90% of the time…):

I guess this explains why I keep complaining about the weather here in Galway, when compared to Lisbon, my hometown…
