Become a Terminator From the Future With Terminate Yourself

25 Apr

Me as TerminatorTo promote Terminator Salvation (premiering on the 21st of March), Terminate Yourself is a cool little app that can turn your picture into an evil robot from the future. It’ s as easy as uploading a headshot (or taking one with your webcam) and adjusting the level of “damage”. The result is somewhat disturbing.

If you like creating these mockups, you can also embed your face in several “famous” images, turn your picture into a “Obama Hope” poster and create your own Warhol-esque gallery.

Become a Jedi in Less Than 5 Minutes

10 Mar

Well, not really. No light saber or Jedi mind tricks. But you’ll have a cool image of you as a Jedi, just like mine:

Just head over to PhotoFunia, upload a well-lit clean headshot of yourself and that’s it. There are currently 90 different images you can embed your photo into, including the aforementioned Jedi poster, the Andy Warhol-esque art gallery scene and the Mona Lisa.

For more fun creating these kinds of spoof images, check out Obamicon.me to make your own “Hope Poster” and Warholizer for another way to create the Andy Warhol-esque pop art effect.

Make Your Own Pop Art With Warholizer

If you enjoyed turning your portrait into a “Obama Hope Poster”, you might also like the result of turning into Pop Art, Andy Warhol style.

The Warholizer does just that. You can use photos you already have on your Flickr account, enter a image URL or just upload one from your computer and you’ll end up with something like this:

This would be a nice CD cover, don’t you think?
